Summer is here...and it's hot!

Tomorrow I have my Hebrew proficiency entrance exam for the Technion's graduate school. I have already been accepted but I need to now prove that I will be able to comprehend lectures and lessons in Hebrew. Keep your fingers crossed! I've been studying hard, working up to this point.

I have also performing in play in Haifa this Thursday and Saturday. This is the same play I did in Jerusalem (the one in which I play a crack addicted prostitute...yay!) two months ago. We are doing the same show at our home theater here in Haifa. Pretty exciting!

I've spent a few good days at the beach so far, preparing my tan before I leave for the U.S.A!!! I am going home to WA for a few weeks to see my wonderful family and friends. I have very very excited and nervous to see how it will feel to return to the U.S after this wild ride that has been Israel so far. Eyal is staying in Israel. He is still finishing up his first year at the Technion. I am BEYOND excited to see family and friends, especially my beautiful little nephew, Jacob. I am BEYOND excited to see my sisters and brother and aunts and uncles that are coming to WA. It's going to be an amazing vacation together. CANNOT WAIT!

It's gotten really really hot here in the last week. It's not just the heat, but it's the humidity that's really tough. I biked to the train station and back today and when I got home I had to shower because I was drenched from the humidity. On the plus side, the Mediterranean is incredibly relaxing and warm and just amazing. Couldn't ask for more than reading a book on the lovely beaches of the Mediterranean.

I've been doing English tutoring to a lovely woman from my yoga class. We meet three times a week. It is really rewarding and I feel like finally I have something that provides me with confidence in my skills. I know that I've been working this year on my Hebrew skills and that this is a major accomplishment. However, to be able to work and feel confident in something has been more confidence boosting than I could have ever imagined. More than that, she recommended to a friend so I am increasing my clientele...wooo!

Things are going really great all in all. And it feels good to be feeling great. It took a while to get here but I am sure glad that I stuck with it and arrived to this destination. I think that I have learned more about myself and the world of growing up than I ever expected. But it had to happen at some point. And I am grateful that I have such an incredible family here in Israel and in the U.S who have supported me this whole time. Love you!!

My friend Leah came to visit and brought me Goldfish crackers...one of my fav American snacks!!

Cooking pasta with our fresh basil from the garden...looking very domestic! Eyal and I have a lot of fun cooking together.

At the Beit Hagefen Theater rehearsing with my friend, Niv. The Tiki man is not part of our play haha.

Me and Leah at the beach. The water is so blue and beautiful!

Having a lovely meal of local Haifa cheeses, fresh bread and mint iced tea with tons of fresh mint. The cheeses ranged from goat cheese to Bulgarian cheese. It was amazing!
