Hummus Competition

Hi there friends and family!

Nothing very exciting has happened since the last time I posted...except I'm just about to finish my first semester of graduate school. And this is quite exciting. I've also gotten a few new employment opportunities as far as English language work is concerned. So things are going really well. Winter is still here, bringing with it lots and lots of RAIN. This is incredible! We have had two very rainy winters in a row now and I only hope they will keep occurring. Lord knows we need this rain.
What else?? Oh yes, I am hosting a hummus competition at our house after the finals period is over in the beginning of March. It will be kind of like a Master Chef competition. Everyone will bring a dish and will be given a number. Whosever dish gets the most votes will be the winner! I'm stoked about this event. I've invited classmates and Eyal has invited his classmates too. It should be a real hoot and a holler.
Unfortunately, no new pictures since nothing too eventful has happened. I did take some more selfies of me and Frankie (I think this officially puts me on some weird level with other cat owners)

We had a winner! Carlos from Ecuador won the competition with his amazing guacamole! What a surprise! Here is pictured holding the first prize picture frame that says. "Hummus Competition 2013!"
